The community is invited to attend an open house on Jan. 28 to visit the new home for Utah Baseball on campus. The event follows the grand opening of the U’s Charlie Monfort Field at America First Ballpark.
The open house is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will be held at 725 S. Guardsman Way. Attendees can find parking on the street along Guardsman Way or in the Guardsman Lot located next to the David S. Layton Golf Academy on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizers requested that guests do not park in the Steiner Aquatic Center or Rowland Hall lots.
Concessions including popcorn, cookies, pretzels, hot dogs, and more will be available while supplies last.
The project was shaped by feedback from those who helped develop a ballpark intended to serve Utah Baseball as well as neighbors and visitors to the surrounding area and Sunnyside Park.
