The Spanish Fork Cross Country Team competed at the Payson Night Hunt Invitational against 20 teams from across Utah. The Boys Varsity Team took first place and brought home the Invitational Trophy.
Leading the Boys Varsity Team were medalists Traeke Seitzinger, who finished 4th, Porter Zaugg, who finished 11th, Warren Johnson, who finished 12th, and Peter Woolston, who finished 13th. Other Varsity runners who competed for the team included Wade Parker, Riggden Seitzinger, and Seth Child.
The Girls Varsity team was led by Claire Ludlow, who finished 9th, and freshman Kristen Collett, who finished 18th. Both runners earned medals for their performances. Additionally, JV Boys Morgan Bradley and James Marshall earned medals.
The team was scheduled to compete in the UIAAA Invitational at Spanish Fork Sports Park on Saturday, August 29th, alongside 74 other teams from across the state.
