Kaysville City has announced the start of Kaysville GIVES 2023, a seasonal drive aimed at providing Christmas assistance to more than 130 families. The initiative seeks donations of various forms to address increased community needs this year.
Ways to participate in drive
There are several ways for the community to participate in the drive. Individuals can visit a virtual giving tree to select items to donate, with all items due back by December 8, 2022, at Kaysville City Hall or at Young Truck and Trailer located at 220 N. 650 W. Kaysville.
Amazon Gift List details
An Amazon Gift List has also been established for suggested donations. These gifts are delivered directly to the partner location at Young Truck and Trailer in Kaysville.
Fill the Fire Truck event
A Fill the Fire Truck event is scheduled for December 2, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Kaysville Fire Department, Youth City Council, and City Council will collect cash, checks, gift cards, and new items including toys, books, warm clothes, boots, shoes, socks, underwear, coats, hats, and gloves for children of all ages. Santa and the Grinch will be present for photos during this event.
How to make financial contributions
Financial contributions can be made online at www.kaysvillegives.com. Donations exceeding $250 are eligible for a tax write-off receipt. Residents may also visit Kaysville City Hall to donate or call 801-546-1235 to make a payment over the phone.
