Rain is expected to arrive in the form of scattered showers and thunderstorms starting Sunday night. Because the showers are scattered, many areas may remain dry. While some showers are possible Sunday evening, the majority of rain is expected to fall between midnight and Monday morning. By midday Monday, most areas should be finished with the rain, though some showers or thunderstorms may linger in the afternoon.
There is a possibility of more rain between Wednesday and Friday of next week, though confidence in this forecast is currently low. Forecasters noted that while the environment is favorable for rain, it is not a guarantee. If rain occurs, temperatures may be cooler, whereas a drier mid-week would result in warmer weather.
