The official sample ballot for the Emery County general election in Utah has been released for the Huntington West area. The ballot is scheduled for the general election on November 3, 2026.
The ballot includes several county offices, such as commissioner, treasurer, clerk/auditor, recorder, and sheriff. Candidates listed for county offices include Kent S. Udel, Jordan Leonard, Josie K. Stilson, Cassie Easley, Celeste Maloy, Keven A. Jensen, Ayden Scott, James Winn, Michael R. Stoddard, Adonis Hooslyn, Michael D. Olsen, Thomas Hansen, Jr., Linda Hanks, Danielle Farley, and Tyson R. Huntington.
Voters will also decide on several judicial retention questions involving the Utah Supreme Court, the Utah Court of Appeals, and the Seventh Juvenile Court District. Additionally, the ballot features two proposed constitutional amendments. Amendment A proposes changing how constitutional amendments are published, requiring publication for 60 days on the Utah Public Notice and Lieutenant Governor websites. Amendment B proposes requiring a 60% voter approval for citizen-proposed laws that increase taxes.
