The campaign seeks to capture the attention of Trader Joe's by reaching a goal of 100,000 people contacting the company by the end of May to request a local store location.

The city believes Kaysville is an ideal location for expansion due to its central position in Davis County and accessibility via I-15. Supporters note that the presence of the grocery store could increase sales tax revenue to fund city infrastructure, parks, and public safety, while also helping to revitalize the downtown area by increasing foot traffic for existing local businesses.

In addition to the retail campaign, Kaysville City has announced several other updates, including the appointment of Jaysen Christensen as the new City Manager.
