The South Jordan Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in person at the City Council Chambers located at 1600 W. Towne Center Drive and virtually via Zoom.
The agenda for the meeting includes an oath of office for a new planning commissioner and the approval of minutes from August 25, 2026. A legislative public hearing is scheduled to address updates to accessory dwelling unit (ADU) and accessory building standards within City Code chapters 17.08, 17.30, 17.40, and 17.130.030.
Individuals attending virtually or by phone may not provide comments during public hearings or public comments; those wishing to comment must attend in person. Written comments may be submitted to City Planner Greg Schindler by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Persons with disabilities requesting assistance should contact the City Recorder at least 24 hours before the meeting.
