Wellsville City Council has established firm restrictions regarding where fireworks are permitted for 2026. These measures follow periods of extreme dry weather.
Fireworks are prohibited on any city open space this year, which includes the town square.
The city has designated specific geographic boundaries where fireworks are restricted. Use of fireworks is not allowed anywhere to the west of 200 West and to the south of 900 South.
