A driver and passenger required extrication from a Cadillac Escalade pickup after being rear-ended by a semi tractor trailer early Friday morning. The collision took place near mile marker 26, approximately four miles south of the Utah state line in Mojave County, Arizona.
Emergency crews from the Arizona Highway Patrol, St. George Fire, and Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire were dispatched to the scene just before 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Both occupants sustained moderate injuries. One person was transported to St. George Regional Hospital by Beaver Dam Fire Ambulance, while another was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance.
