A group of highly credentialed mental health specialists will serve as speakers for an upcoming play therapy conference at Utah Valley University. The lineup includes various Registered Play Therapist Supervisors and leaders within the Utah Association for Play Therapy, representing practices across Logan, Bountiful, Lehi, Herriman, and South Jordan.
Heather Stephenson's expertise
Heather Stephenson, a licensed mental health professional with 16 years of experience in Logan, serves as the current Treasurer for the Utah Association for Play Therapy. She is EMDR certified and provides consultation on integrating EMDR with play therapy.
Maggi Leavitt and training leadership
Maggi Leavitt, the current President of the Utah Association for Play Therapy Board, owns Yellow Leaf Counseling and is a co-owner of Monarch Training Center. Along with Sarah Stroup, a licensed marriage and family therapist at Monarch Family Counseling, Leavitt provides training and RPT supervision through the Monarch Training Center.
Jared Andes' clinical focus
Jared Andes, the Vice President of the Utah Association for Play Therapy and Clinical Editor of the Play Therapy Magazine, owns Full Spectrum Counseling. He utilizes Jungian Analytical Play Therapy to support families navigating autism, anxiety, and depression.
