The Utah Department of Natural Resources has announced that physical licenses will no longer be printed and mailed for most types of permits. Effective immediately, the DWR will only print game permits that require a physical tag.
Basic fishing, hunting, combination, and other licenses will not be sent via mail.
To access these licenses, individuals may use the Utah Hunting & Fishing mobile app to display and use their license on a mobile device.
Other options for accessing licenses include using the receipt copy provided at the end of a transaction or contacting a DWR office to obtain a copy.
The online system allows both new and returning customers to purchase licenses or gift licenses by creating an account. Users can log in using their date of birth along with a customer ID, Social Security number, or driver's license number.
