The Utah NICA State Championships are scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, 2026, at the Desert Color Trail Park in Saint George. The event, which serves as the final race of the season, will feature a new venue and specialized support services for competing mountain bikers.
Support for Competitors
Red Rock Bicycle announced that the shop will be on-site during both days of the championship to provide support for racers. The company plans to offer free pre-race bike checks to ensure participants are prepared for the competition and to prevent mechanical issues at the start line.
Technical Inspection Services
The technical services offered by Red Rock Bicycle include inspections of several critical bike components. The shop will check bearing components, including the headset, bottom bracket, and hubs, as well as the drivetrain for wear and adjustment. Additionally, technicians will inspect brakes for wear and adjustment, check tire sealant levels and wear, and perform suspension inspections, including lip seal inspections and pressure checks and setups if desired.
Games and Prizes
Beyond technical repairs, Red Rock Bicycle stated it will host games and prizes for participants. The shop plans to utilize a "Spin to Win" wheel, which offers competitors the opportunity to win swag, discounts, and gift cards. The company noted it will have staff available at three different locations, two of which are situated within 30 minutes of the Desert Color venue.
