The City of Orem Planning Commission scheduled public hearings for September 16, 2026, to consider zoning and text amendments, according to a September 2 statement.
The meetings are set to begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. at the City of Orem Council Chambers located at 56 North State Street.
One public hearing involves a request to amend Article 22-5-3(A) and the City of Orem Zoning Map. The proposal seeks to change the zone of a property located generally at 1075 South 1675 West from CM, Controlled Manufacturing, to M1, Light Manufacturing, covering approximately 9.29 acres.
A second public hearing will address a text amendment to Article 22-11-5. This request involves modifying the PD-13 Zone and adopting a new Concept Plan for a property located generally at 225 West 400 North, which is approximately 2.42 acres.
The proposed map amendment is available for review at the Office of Community Development on the second floor of 56 North State Street.
