A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries Friday evening in Ogden after a vehicle pulled out of a parking lot and into the rider's path. The collision occurred at 3161 Washington Blvd. following a dispatch alert at 6:53 p.m.
According to Ogden Police Lt. Kuies, the incident involved a vehicle exiting the Dollar General parking lot to travel south. The vehicle crossed into the path of a southbound motorcycle, and the rider was unable to stop in time before striking the vehicle. The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene of the accident. According to officials, there was no suspected impairment reported regarding the driver of the vehicle.
