Park City PD K-9 Bruno heads home after surgery
SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 17, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Park City K-9 Bruno is heading home after leg surgery. The K-9 officer was doing a sniff for explosives Tuesday morning on a Summit County overpass when he suddenly jumped from the overpass, landing hard on the roadway about 35 feet below.

K-9 injured in overpass fall returns home after hospital release
After a scare and a brief stay in the veterinary hospital, Park City police K-9 Bruno is recovering well enough that he has been allowed to return home to his family. The Park City Police Department shared a video Thursday of Bruno being released from the hospital to cheers from the medical staff who treated him.

Lawsuit to overturn Utah's book ban law can continue, judge says
