The Murray Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has outlined its upcoming meeting schedule and guidelines for citizen participation, according to a November 3 statement.
The board has proposed several meeting dates for 2027, including January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, and November 10. A volunteer banquet is scheduled for Oct. 13, 2027. There will be no meeting held in December.
Citizens wishing to have comments read into the record must submit them via email to kjones@murray.utah.gov by 5:00 p.m. the day before a meeting. These comments are limited to three minutes or less and must include the individual's name and address.
The next scheduled meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 13, 2027, at 5:30 p.m. MST. The meeting will be held at the Parks and Recreation Office located at 296 East Murray Park Avenue in Murray, Utah.
Special accommodations for the hearing or visually impaired are available upon request to the office of Murray City Parks and Recreation by providing two working days' notice. Committee members may also participate in meetings via telephonic communication.
