Utah Cardiac Transplant Program Celebrates 40 Years of Collaboration
A consortium of four Utah hospitals celebrated the 40th anniversary of the UTAH Cardiac Transplant Program on Tuesday, marking four decades of collaborative heart transplant services. Since 1985, the program has performed 2,074 transplants through a unique cooperative model shared by Intermountain Medical Center, Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital, University of Utah Health, and the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center.

Salt Lake City has a new vision for 500 West in fast-growing city section
It's similar to what's already available along the road from 600 South to nearly North Temple, including at The Gateway. "Missing sidewalks, inadequate storm drains and failing asphalt are the reality on 500 West today. The project has been on the city's radar for years, as part of the Green Loop that Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall pitched in 2023.
