The City of Draper has released multiple public notices involving zoning changes, tax proposals, and holiday fireworks regulations.
Ordinance #1731 has been adopted to amend the Official Zoning Map of Draper City. This amendment affects approximately 1.08 acres of property located at roughly 265 E. 13275 S., changing the designation from RA1 (Residential Agricultural) to RA2 (Residential Agricultural).
Regarding holiday safety, Draper City has applied to the Utah State Forester for permission to maintain a ban on the discharge of personal fireworks during the Pioneer Day holiday period, which spans July 22 through July 25.
The city also released notices concerning proposed tax increases for both Utah County and Salt Lake County jurisdictions.
Recent public hearing notices from the city include requests for a Town Center Residential Zoning Text Amendment, an Adamo Zoning Map Amendment, and a City Initiated Short-Term Rentals Text Amendment.
