The Lehi City Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 9, 2026, at the Lehi Civic Center Council Chambers to receive public comment on various development requests and city code amendments.
The meeting took place at 7:00 p.m. at 131 North 100 East.
Several subdivision and residential requests were presented for consideration. JDH Development requested approval for the Vivian Estates Phase 5A preliminary subdivision, which includes two single family lots at 207 and North 600 East in the RA-1 Zone. Additionally, JDH Development sought approval for the Vivian Estates 5B preliminary subdivision involving 10 single family lots near 600 East and 300 East.
Other residential and site plan items included a request from Andrew Ward for an 8-foot fence exception at 1337 S 1880 W. Kevin and Sarah Gordon requested approval for the Lehi Childcare Facility Site Plan at 808 North 2300 W, which includes requests for exceptions regarding building footprint size and buffering standards.
Development plan reviews included a request from Symphony Home to review the Fox Trail Subdivision Concept Plan, now requesting nine lots and a development agreement at 2850 West 1500 North. The Gardner-Plumb Group also requested a review of an amendment to their development agreement to transfer 124 equivalent residential units from the northern portion of the agreement to the southern portion.
Lehi City presented several requests for code and manual amendments. These included updates to Chapter 23 regarding sign requirements, updates to Chapter 11 concerning development application requirements for site plans and subdivisions, and an amendment to Chapter 38 for the Mixed-Use Zone.
The city also requested reviews for updates to the Lehi Storm Water Management Plan 2026 and an amendment to the Lehi City Design Standards and Public Improvement Specifications Manual to add temporary construction site safety measures for residential and commercial projects.
