Williams Joins Timberwolves

He averaged a career-high 8.8 points on 46.8% shooting, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 24.3 minutes per game last season.
Williams, a San Louis Obispo, California native, recorded a career-high 34 points on March 15 against Sacramento, a performance that included 12-of-20 shooting, seven rebounds and seven assists. Before his professional career, Williams played one collegiate season at the University of Colorado in 2023-24, where he averaged 11.9 points and was named to the 2024 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. Veteran Konchar Moves to Minnesota
The Timberwolves also acquired 30-year-old forward John Konchar as part of the deal. Konchar has appeared in 363 career games and 65 starts over eight NBA seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Jazz. Last season, Konchar split time between the Grizzlies and the Jazz following a trade to Utah on Feb. 3. Jazz Acquire Josh Green
In exchange, the Utah Jazz received 25-year-old guard Josh Green and cash considerations. Green, a 6-foot-6 guard, is entering his seventh NBA season and has appeared in 349 regular season games with 129 starts. His career includes stints with the Dallas Mavericks and the Charlotte Hornets.
Green was a key contributor to the Dallas Mavericks' 2024 NBA Finals appearance and has extensive international experience. He helped Australia win a bronze medal at the 2021 Olympic Games and appeared in four games for the national team during the 2024 Olympics.
