An upcoming presentation titled Fire-Resilient Landscaping for Safer Spaces will take place on Tuesday, June 10 at 5:00 p.m. The event is scheduled to be held in the Community Room at Park City Library.
Attendees can learn about fire-resistant landscaping and various fire mitigation projects within Park City.
The session will feature presenters Maddie Nelson, who serves as Open Space Supervisor at Basin Rec, and Sara Jo Dickens from Summit CWMA.
Participants will discover methods to reduce the spread of noxious weeds during fire mitigation efforts. The program also offers attendees free seeds to plant their own fire-resistant plants.
The event will conclude with a Q&A session where participants can receive expert advice on creating more resilient landscapes.
