The victims have been identified as Ashley Garibay, 23, of Stockton, California; Dale Schultz, 66, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Christopher Claunch, 59, of Hagerman, Idaho.
All three individuals were killed when a gunman opened fire outside the drive-thru. In addition to the fatalities, seven other people were seriously injured during the incident.
The Twin Falls County Coroner's Office has identified all victims and notified their next of kin. Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks stated that the department's primary concern is providing support, resources, and timely information to the 10 immediate families directly affected by the tragic incident.
Chief Hicks noted that the families are experiencing unimaginable loss or have injured family members, and expressed the department's desire to provide compassion, privacy, and assistance through all available measures.
The case remains an ongoing investigation, and authorities have not released details regarding a motive or why the In-N-Out location was selected.
A candlelight vigil is planned for 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Twin Falls City Park for those affected by the shooting. The community is encouraged to attend as they deal with the grief of the event.
