The 2026 Bank of Utah Championship is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah, according to a September 28 report by Golfweek. The tournament features a field of 120 golfers competing for a $6 million purse to improve their status for 2026 and beyond.
The event will be held at the Black Desert Resort, a par-71 layout measuring 7,421 yards. This marks the third edition of the championship since it began in 2024. Michael Brennan is scheduled to return to the venue to defend his title after winning the 2025 tournament as a sponsor exemption to earn his PGA Tour card.
Television and streaming coverage for the tournament includes Golf Channel and Sirius XM. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will be available for the first two rounds only. Broadcast times in Eastern Time are as follows:
First round, Thursday, Oct. 1: Golf Channel from 5-8 p.m., PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ from 9:45 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sirius XM from 2-8 p.m.
Second round, Friday, Oct. 2: Golf Channel from 5-8 p.m., PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ from 9:45 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sirius XM from 2-8 p.m.
Third round, Saturday, Oct. 3: Golf Channel from 5-8 p.m. and Sirius XM from 3-8 p.m.
Final round, Sunday, Oct. 4: Golf Channel from 5-8 p.m. and Sirius XM from 3-8 p.m.
The tournament is part of the FedEx Cup Fall schedule. Other upcoming events in the series include the Baycurrent Classic in Yokohama, Japan, from Oct. 8-11, the Butterfield Bermuda Championship from Oct. 22-25, and the VidantaWorld Mexico Open from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1.
