The East All-Stars secured a dominant 6-1 victory over the West All-Stars during the 2026 MLS Next All-Star game at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex on Monday, July 27, 2026. While the West struggled throughout the match, RSL Academy products including Easton Wilson and Danny Carmona stood out in their respective appearances.
The Eastern side established an early lead, scoring three goals within the first 15 minutes through Oscar Avilez, Jamil Danjijii, and Liam Stribling. Avilez contributed further to the scoreline in the 31st minute and again shortly after following an assist from Christopher Morales. Marcellus Singleton II also scored for the East after receiving a cross from Avilez.
Real Salt Lake Academy signee Danny Carmona participated in the first half. The 2010-born winger, who joined the RSL Academy from Total Futbol Academy in July, demonstrated playmaking ability by assisting Matthew Arana and nearly scoring with a low-driven strike just before the half ended.
Lineups rotated for the second half, allowing RSL Academy stars Kellen Poll and Easton Wilson to make their MLS Next All-Star Game debuts. Poll and the Western defense helped contain the Eastern offense after the break, though Daniel Brown scored in the 77th minute to extend the East's lead to 6-0.
Easton Wilson provided the lone goal for the West in the 83rd minute. After receiving a long-range through ball, the 16-year-old used his speed to outrun the final defender and beat the goalkeeper to the near post.
The All-Star festivities continued in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the Skills Challenge scheduled for Tuesday, July 28. The MLS is also set to face Liga MX in the 2026 MLS All-Star game on Wednesday.
