FORT DUCHESNE, Uintah County — The Ute Indian Tribe is publicly rebuking the Uintah County Sheriff's Office because of an incident last month involving sheriff's deputies, tribal police and federal officials. "The Uintah County sheriff's deputies' actions are nothing short of an attack on the tribe's jurisdiction and sovereignty," the Ute tribe said in a statement on Wednesday.
