The Roy City Council meeting that was scheduled to take place on April 21, 2026, was canceled. The cancellation meant there was no physical meeting location for the session.
The agenda for the scheduled meeting included a welcome and roll call, a moment of silence, and the pledge of allegiance. Other planned items consisted of consent items, presentations, public comments, action items, and a city manager and council report.
During the scheduled session, public comments were to be limited to three minutes per person. The agenda noted that individuals with complicated messages could email the Council at council@royutah.gov.
In accordance with the Open and Public Meetings Act regarding electronic meetings, council members maintained the ability to participate via teleconference.
To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the city provided instructions for individuals needing auxiliary communicative aids or services. Such requests were to be directed to the Administration Department at least 48 hours in advance via email at admin@royutah.gov or by calling (801) 774-1020.
