The Duchesne County Library Board held a special meeting on September 10, 2026, at Roosevelt Library to address strategic planning for 2027-2029.
The mission of the Duchesne County Library System is to enrich residents’ knowledge and inspire community growth. The meeting focused on identifying needs that library staff and board members perceive among patrons, evaluating current services, and considering new services. Discussion topics included updating the library’s mission and values and releasing a strategic planning survey to the public.
Patrons will be able to suggest services through the survey, focus groups, and the second strategic planning meeting on November 12. Public comment was also permitted during the session. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 4:30 PM at the Duchesne Library.
Daniel Mauchley, Director of the Duchesne County Library System, certified that the notice was posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting and distributed to local media outlets.
