The South Jordan Senior Advisory Committee is scheduled to hold a meeting on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, according to a notice published Sept. 23. The meeting is set to take place at 11:00 a.m. at the South Jordan Community Center in room 127, with a virtual option available via Zoom.
The meeting will be held at the South Jordan Community Center, located at 10778 S. Redwood Road, South Jordan, Utah. Individuals requiring special accommodations should contact Community Center staff at least 24 hours before the meeting.
The committee's mission is to promote the interests of older adults and caregivers in the community by partnering with Senior Programs. The committee aims to provide a creative and informational environment for social activities and to support the health, well-being, and safety of older adults.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes a review of previous minutes and various reports. The committee will also discuss upcoming events for the fourth quarter of 2026, including Oktoberfest on Oct. 1, a choir performance on Oct. 16, the Pumpkin Promenade on Oct. 23-24, and a Halloween party on Oct. 30. Other scheduled activities include a Veterans Breakfast on Nov. 7, a Seniors Programs Veterans Lunch on Nov. 10, and a Thanksgiving Banquet on Nov. 18.
The next meeting for the committee is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26, at 11:00 a.m.
