Closed Roads for Seal Coat Project Progress

The City's annual Seal Coat Project is underway, and crews will be working through several neighborhoods over the next two weeks to help extend the life of our roads.
Seal coating protects asphalt from sun, water, and everyday wear, keeping our streets smoother and saving the City money on bigger repairs down the road. To get the job done right, crews need the pavement clear, so we're asking residents in the affected areas to plan ahead for no on-street parking or driving on their scheduled day.

If your street falls within one of these zones, please move vehicles off the road before the morning of your scheduled date and avoid driving through the area while crews are working. This helps the seal coat cure properly and keeps everyone safe.

A few tips for a smooth process
Move cars into driveways or garages the night before your street's scheduled date.
Watch for temporary signage and cones marking the work zone.
Freshly sealed asphalt needs time to cure, so please stay off the surface until it's ready for traffic again.

Seal coating is one of the most cost-effective ways the City maintains its road network, helping prevent cracking and potholes before they start. A little patience now means smoother, longer-lasting streets for the whole neighborhood.
