Craft Lake City Executive Director Angela H. Brown appeared on KUED’s Contact with Mary Dickson to discuss the upcoming 11th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival.
The festival is recognized as Utah's largest three-day arts, science, and technology festival that focuses on local talent.
The DIY Festival will take place at the Utah State Fairpark, located at 155 North 1000 West in Salt Lake City. The event features over 250 local artisans, DIY engineers, vintage vendors, and craft food creators.
Attendees can expect two stages of music and dance performances, youth vendors, and local food trucks. The festival anticipates approximately 20,000 attendees.
Admission costs $5 for pre-sale and $7 on the day of the festival for adults, while children aged 12 and under are free to enter.
Founded in 2009 by Angela H. Brown, Craft Lake City is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The mission of the organization is to educate, promote, and inspire local artisans while elevating Utah's creative culture through science, technology, and art.
