Progress Software completed a $400 million purchase of substantially all of Domo's operating assets on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, according to a September 24 report. The transaction included the Domo AI and data platform, a customer base of more than 2,400 businesses, and most of the company's former employees.
The surviving public company has been renamed Huckleberry.ai and is headquartered in Lehi, Utah, having moved from its former American Fork headquarters. The firm, which trades on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol HUCK, began life with approximately $221 million in cash following the asset sale. The company also holds more than $900 million in Net Operating Loss carryforwards and operates without debt.
The final cash balance of $221 million is approximately $25 million lower than the $246 million in net cash originally estimated when the transaction was announced on July 22, 2026. According to an SEC Form 8-K filing, the company used the $400 million purchase price to pay all of Domo's outstanding borrowings, accrued interest, and fees under its credit facility, and to repurchase outstanding lender warrants for approximately $10 million.
Domo's final trading day under the DOMO stock symbol was September 23, 2026, when shares closed at $3.55, down 4.1%. While the company has not announced a specific business plan or strategy, the Huckleberry.ai board of directors is evaluating opportunities to put the company's capital and tax assets to work, as well as potential ways to return capital to stockholders.
Josh James, the founder and former CEO of Domo, remains the leader of Huckleberry.ai, where he serves as the Big Kanuna.
