Ahlberg's Media and Sales Career Path
Brooke Ahlberg has served as the Underwriting Manager for KPCW since July of 2021. A native of Texas, Ahlberg moved from Dallas to Park City in 2014 after seeking new opportunities within Utah. Before returning to her professional roots in media, she built a career in sales that began in 2005 following an initial entry into the media industry in 2002.
Prior to her current role at KPCW, Ahlberg held a position as a Regional Account Executive overseeing operations across three different states. She was also part of the Aramark team in Utah, where she progressed through various professional ranks. Beyond her work at the station, Ahlberg is active in local community service, sitting on the board for the WIN Group in Park City and facilitating a support group alongside her husband for SHARE Parents of Utah.
Johnson's Background in Community Building
Amber Borowski Johnson, the station's Community Engagement Manager, recently returned to her radio roots as a featured voice for KPCW's new show, The Community Campfire. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Johnson previously worked in radio reporting snow totals for Ski Utah under the moniker "Craaaaazy Caniente."
Johnson brings extensive experience in digital community building and journalism to the station. She spent two decades managing Colorado’s largest online community for mothers, an achievement that earned her a Colorado Associated Press Editors and Reporters Association award for Online General Excellence. Her professional background also includes serving as a columnist for the Denver Post, working as a publicist within the tourism and nonprofit sectors, and contributing as a travel writer.

Recent broadcasts of The Community Campfire have highlighted diverse local stories. In a July 17, 2026, broadcast, Johnson reported on a new Utah chapter of the Expeditionary Veterans Association.
