Southern Utah University is celebrating multiple milestones, ranging from athletic victories to international educational advancements. The SUU Men’s Rodeo Team recently captured the 2026 Rocky Mountain Regional Championship, marking a historic first for the university.
Keynote Speaker Announcement
In addition to athletic success, the university announced that award-winning voice actress Kat Cressida will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2026 One Utah Summit.
New International Research Partnership
The university is also expanding its global research footprint through a new agreement with Reykjavik. This partnership aims to advance energy education and research, creating new opportunities for students, faculty, and industry partners across both Iceland and the United States.
Academic and Student Successes
Academic programs at SUU continue to demonstrate student success. The SUU ProSales program recently held its annual Thunder Sales Competition. Additionally, the university's anthropology program was noted for preparing student Annie Weight for her transition to Harvard University.
