After more than 26 years with the Carbon School District Technology Department, Jeremy Ison is preparing for retirement.
Ison began his career in 1996. In his early role, he worked in crawl spaces and ceilings to assist with wiring tasks.
Throughout his tenure, Ison worked alongside members of the district's technology team to help schools maintain connectivity through decades of innovation and growth.
Ison and his wife, Jill, established their lives in Carbon County due to the community, family ties, and opportunities for raising children. The couple is also preparing to welcome their first grandchild this fall.
Following his retirement, Ison plans to travel around the world this summer. Inspired by watching National Geographic during his childhood, he intends to visit various global locations.
Carbon School District expressed gratitude for his years of dedication and wished him and Jill well on their future adventures.
