The Utah Debate Commission announced Friday the full schedule of locations and dates for the 2026 General Election congressional debates, which will be broadcast live across the state via television and radio.
District Debate Dates
The commission scheduled four separate debates to cover Utah's congressional districts. The first debate for Congressional District 1 is set for Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at Salt Lake Community College.
Debates for the remaining districts will follow in October. The District 3 debate will take place on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at Utah Tech University, followed by the District 4 debate on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at Snow College.
Final Scheduled Event
The final debate in the series for Congressional District 2 is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, at Utah State University.
All events are hosted by the Utah Debate Commission and will be available to viewers through multiple media platforms.
Broadcast and Streaming Options
Utah residents can watch the debates live on several television stations, including ABC 4 Utah, FOX 13 Utah, KSL 5 TV, KUTV 2 News, and PBS Utah.
In addition to television broadcasts, the commission confirmed that the debates will be available online through station websites. Radio listeners can access the broadcasts via KSL Newsradio on 102.7 FM or 1160 AM, and all debates will also be available via the Utah Debate Commission live stream.
