The Utah Film Commission announced that the Utah Board of Tourism Development has approved five new productions for state film incentives.
The approved projects, which include a mix of episodic, short, and feature productions, are expected to generate an estimated economic impact of $9.2 million. This expansion is projected to create over 400 new jobs while filming takes place in five counties across the state.
The recent approval follows a series of successful production approvals earlier this year. In April 2026, the Utah Board of Tourism Development approved five productions that were estimated to generate $69.5 million in economic impact and create over 1,000 jobs across six counties.
Earlier in the year, March 2026 saw the approval of seven new productions for state incentives, which were expected to bring a $12.6 million economic impact and 600 new jobs across 11 counties.
