The McDonald's All-American, who was ranked fourth in the nation during the 2025 ESPN Women's Basketball Recruiting Draft, joins the Blue Devils after a tenure with the Riverhawks that included a 102-4 win/loss record.

Skinner's career at Ridgeline High School established her as one of the most accomplished teenage basketball players in Utah history. According to the Cache County School District, she is a two-time Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year and a gold-medal winner for the U17 USA Women's National Team at the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup.
Record-Breaking Scoring and Success
During her four years as the Riverhawks' point guard, Skinner led the team to a nearly flawless record, finishing with 102 wins and only four losses. Her scoring output of 2,313 career points ranks as the fourth-highest total in Utah state history. The Cache County School District noted that her athletic achievements have drawn attention from major organizations including McDonald's, Nike, and Gatorade.

Skinner expressed that her decision to attend Duke University was driven by the opportunity to work under Coach Kara. She stated that she felt a strong connection with her teammates and viewed the coach as a vital mentor who could help her develop her skills as a point guard.
