The Utah State University Office of Global Engagement has announced it is now back in the MS Building on the south side, facing the TSC. The office facilitates various international initiatives including study abroad programs, Fulbright programs, and international agreements.
Office services and responsibilities
In addition to managing international undergraduate admissions, the office provides immigration advising for international students and visiting scholars.
Operating hours and document pickup
The Office of Global Engagement is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. While the office recommends scheduling appointments with advisors in advance, physical documents can be picked up in person between 8:15 am and 4:45 pm without an appointment upon presentation of a student ID card.
Advisor appointment methods
Immigration advisors are available for both virtual and phone appointments. The university encourages the use of Zoom appointments to facilitate the sharing of screens and documents. Phone appointments can be scheduled by calling 797-1124.
International Friends Program details
The office also supports the International Friends Program, which connects international students and visiting scholars with the Cache Valley community through activities such as Family Connections, Outdoor Recreation, and IFP Hikers.
Recent study abroad highlights
Recent global engagement highlights include a student's study abroad experience in Logroño, Spain, during the spring 2026 semester, as well as faculty-led programs in Cuba and civil engineering study abroad opportunities in Italy and Southern France.
