A traffic shift for the 200 North reconstruction project began as early as Tuesday, July 7, at 1:00 p.m. Construction activities are moving to the north side of 200 North between 500 East and Country Lane.
To accommodate this work, traffic will be moved to the south side of the roadway. This configuration is expected to remain in place through Winter 2026.
Crews are scheduled to begin by milling the existing pavement. Following these milling operations, crews will perform utility infrastructure upgrades and replace damaged concrete where repairs are necessary.
Residents may experience temporary driveway access interruptions as milling equipment moves past individual properties. Additionally, short-term side street closures may occur as work progresses through various intersections.
Landscape restoration is currently ongoing, though final restoration may occur later this year or in Spring 2027 depending on the availability of supplies and materials. Property owners remain responsible for the watering and maintenance of any grass or landscaping located within the park strip.
Questions or concerns can be directed to the project-dedicated public involvement team.
