Juab County has issued an official notice of the 2026 Regular General Election, certifying candidates for upcoming primary ballots. In accordance with UCA 20A-5a-206, the listed candidates are qualified for placement on the 2026 Regular Primary Election ballot in the order they appear for Juab County.
The 2026 Regular Primary Election will be held for the Republican Party only. Participation in this primary election is permitted only for voters affiliated with the Republican Party.
Under UCA 20A-2-107, registered voters affiliated with a party were unable to designate or change their party affiliation after April 1, 2026. However, pursuant to UCA 20A-2-107.5, registered voters not currently affiliated with a party may affiliate with a party by providing a change of affiliation form to an election judge during the Primary Election.
The certified candidates for the Republican Party include:
For State House of Representatives, House District 29, which includes Millard County and portions of Juab and Tooele Counties: Alexis Wheeler and Sheldon Birch.
For Juab County Commission Seat A, serving the county at large: Chris L Memmott and J. David Fletcher.
For Juab County Commission Seat B, serving the county at large: Marty L Palmer and Kevin C Snow.
For the position of Sheriff, serving Juab County at large: M. Drake Underwood and Chris Painter.
Candidates who are unopposed do not appear on this notice. Ballot order is determined by the Master Ballot Position List as per UCA 20A-6-110.
