Tremonton City has implemented firework restrictions following a high risk of fire during the period when fireworks are permitted to be discharged this season.
The restrictions apply to specific locations within the city to mitigate fire hazards.
The first prohibited area includes all land within Tremonton City limits located north of the Highline Canal, west of 2300 West, and east of Interstate 84.
Additionally, firework use is prohibited in all land within 100 feet of the Sensitive Area Zoning District, an area generally known as the Malad River Bottoms.
Violating this ordinance is considered an infraction and is punishable by a $1000 fine.
