The Clearfield City Police Department is seeking leads to help locate a woman who has been missing for three years, according to a report published August 17.
Tina Marie Jones was reported missing by her family on Aug. 28, 2023.
According to a statement from the Clearfield City Police Department, Jones has experienced homelessness for several years across various parts of the country and has mental illnesses.
Jones checked out of a homeless shelter in Salt Lake City on Aug. 13, 2023. Between Aug. 13 and Aug. 16, 2023, she reportedly stayed with an acquaintance at an apartment complex in Clearfield.
Occupants of that apartment reported last seeing Jones on Aug. 16, 2023. She reportedly left all her personal belongings at the apartment, except for her wallet. Surveillance footage from a nearby business captured Jones leaving the apartment complex at 2:13 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2023, walking westbound over the Center Street Bridge.
Jones has not been seen or heard from since that time.
Jones is 52 years old, stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighed approximately 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray pants and a black shirt that read New York’s 5 Boroughs, while carrying a white wallet.
She was known to use public transportation and stay at homeless shelters. It was believed she suffered from mental health issues for which she was not medicated.
