The Pleasant Grove City Council scheduled a work session and a regular meeting for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, according to a notice published August 28. The work session is set for 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room at 108 S 100 E, followed by a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m.
The work session agenda includes the introduction of new employees, a presentation regarding the Cook Family Park Survey, and staff business. Council members may participate in the meeting electronically.
During the regular meeting, several public hearings are scheduled. These include a hearing for Ordinance 2026-025 to adopt the Pleasant Grove Downtown Master Plan, presented by Director Cárdenas. Another hearing, presented by Director Cárdenas, concerns Ordinance 2026-026 to adopt a Vicinity Plan Amendment for approximately 12.079 acres of land located between the Murdock Canal Trail, 1590 West, 3620 North, and the western boundary of Pleasant Grove City.
A third public hearing, presented by PW Operator Baylor Hatch, involves Ordinance 2026-027 to adopt an updated Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP).
Action items ready for a vote include a commercial site plan for a building located near 224 S. Pleasant Grove Blvd in The Grove – Commercial Sales Zone and a resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Alpine School District for School Resource Officer services.
Other agenda items include consideration of payment No. 6 to Condie Construction Co., LLC for the 800 North Area Waterline, Drainage and Roadway Reconstruction Project, and the approval of payment reports from August 20, 2026.
The meeting agenda also includes a review of the September 15, 2026, City Council meeting agenda and the signing of plats.
