The St. George Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, to discuss a proposed zoning change for the Sullivan Commercial project, according to a notice published August 28.
The hearing, which begins at 5:00 p.m., will focus on a request to change the zoning of approximately 8.48 acres from A-1 (Agriculture, one-acre minimum lot size) to PD-C (Planned Development Commercial). The property is located generally north of 2450 South and west of 3210 East. The request is specifically for the Planned Development Initial Zone Change only, under Case No. 2026-ZC-016.
Bush & Gudgell, Inc. is the applicant for the zone change, with Bob Hermandson serving as the representative. The meeting will take place at the St. George City Offices located at 61 S Main Street, St. George, Utah.
The public hearing is intended to receive public comment regarding the proposal. The City of St. George stated that it will make efforts to provide reasonable accommodations for disabled members of the public accessing City programs by contacting the City Human Resources Office at least 24 hours in advance.
