The Syracuse High Class of 2026 has officially graduated, marking the largest graduating class in the Davis School District with 778 students.
In addition to their size, the class achieved significant academic and financial milestones, earning more than $19.7 million in scholarships. Nearly half of the seniors in this cohort received awards.
The graduating class demonstrated high levels of academic achievement across various honors. The group included 14 Sterling Scholar winners, 117 recipients of the Seal of Biliteracy, 43 students who earned associate degrees, and 42 students who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Other recent developments within the district include a partnership between Davis School District and Waterford Upstart. This initiative provides an on-demand early learning program for PreK children, offering tools and resources in reading, math, and science. The program is available to children entering kindergarten in Fall 2027.
In addition to academic updates, the district has announced upcoming community engagement opportunities, such as the 'Voices of a Nation' student speaking event. This event invites students from all grade levels to share original speeches regarding America's past, present, or future.
