The Utah Avalanche Center has a new executive director heading into the winter season. Nazz Kurth is focusing on making avalanche forecasts and safety information easier to access. The New Hampshire native moved to Utah 20 years ago. The Utah Avalanche Center is focused on saving lives, Kurth said on KPCW's Local News Hour Aug.
