Vineyard City Announces Appointment of New City Council Member

September 15, 2026

Vineyard City is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Price to serve on the Vineyard City

Council.

Following the resignation of City Council member, Ezra Nair, the City conducted the vacancy appointment

process in accordance with Utah law governing municipal vacancies, including public notice, review of

qualified applicants, and consideration in an open public meeting.

At its public meeting held on September 15, 2026, the City Council voted to appoint Christopher Price to fill

the vacant council seat and serve the remainder of the unexpired term.

Mr. Price brings a commitment to public service and community involvement and will work alongside the

Mayor and City Council in representing the residents of Vineyard and advancing the City's strategic priorities.

Following his appointment, Mr. Price will take the Oath of Office and be officially seated as a member of the

Vineyard City Council.

The Mayor, City Council, and staff are grateful for Mr. Price’s willingness to serve the residents of Vineyard.

We look forward to working with him as we continue to address important community priorities and support

the City's ongoing success.

We extend our appreciation to all residents who expressed interest in serving the community through the

appointment process.
