The Provo wrestling program is designed to introduce children to basic wrestling techniques. According to a notice on the city's website, the program is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through 8th grade.
Practices for the program are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Provo High School, located at 1300 Lakeshore Dr. The program includes practices, one mid-season practice meet, and entry into the Provo High Schools Holiday Classic Wrestling tournament.
Registration for the program is available from August 4 to October 11, or until the program is full. A parent meeting was scheduled for October 22 via YouTube Live at 5:00 PM.
Program fees are $65 for residents and $75 for non-residents. A $10 early bird discount is available if signed up before the registration deadline. The program runs from October 27 to December 12.
