Weber State University hosted a K-12 Back to School Bash on August 8 to help local students and families prepare for the upcoming school year.
The event took place from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Shepherd Union Building located at 3910 West Campus Drive.
During the event, Weber State offered several resources to the community, including free backpacks and school supplies. Attendees had access to a resource fair and information regarding college and district programs.
Wellness services were also provided, including health and vision screenings as well as haircuts. Additionally, free food was available to participants.
To assist with attendance, parking at Weber State was free for the event. Additionally, riding the Ogden Express (OGX) bus was completely free for those attending the bash.
