Karla Vander Zanden, who co-founded Moab’s Canyonlands Field Institute in 1984, is one of the Utah Nonprofits Association’s 2026 Hall of Fame honorees. The association recognized this year’s honorees Sept. 30 at its annual conference at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.

A new health center plans to open in Moab in January - Moab Sun News
Moab residents are getting another place to go for health care. Two Rivers Community Health, a nonprofit health center based in Green River, plans to start seeing medical patients in Moab in January. Over time, it plans to offer primary care, mental health care, substance use treatment and dental care in one place, according to a Sept.
